With nearly two decades of experience, Mike displays a wide range of expertise. His knowledge ranges from preparing budgets and forecasts for owners, cost estimating, quality assurance, and labor management, to job site safety and contract administration. With a passion particularly in healthcare construction, Mike is able to lead projects in a way that leaves clients confident and assured due to his extensive knowledge and ability to get things done correctly. Mike graduated from Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota, with a Bachelor Degree in Business and Management.

Tom Polkinghorn - Director of Project Management
After more than 25 years in the industry, Tom’s passion for construction continues to grow. His years of experience gives him a unique ability to thoroughly understand both the big picture and the smallest detail of every project. His experience includes residential, commercial and healthcare. Whether the project is a new residence, an interior renovation, new building construction, or a renovation in an occupied building, he understands the different needs of each project and client. Tom brings his exceptional leadership, professionalism, and experience to every project. He instills his values and work ethic in every team member, and takes pride in providing the highest quality, best value, and an exceptional level of service to every client. Tom graduated from Westlake High School in Austin, Texas and received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas State University with a Major in Marketing.

Andrew O’Neil - Director of Operations
Andrew brings to Driftwood nearly 20 years of commercial construction, real estate, and development expertise. An alumnus of St. Edward’s University, Andrew is well-known in the Austin community for the way he builds and maintains long-lasting relationships with his clients. Andrew’s creativity and sense of humor contribute to his ability to run multiple projects simultaneously, all the while keeping his clients informed. He has just the right balance of experience, efficiency, and energy to bring customers back time and time again. Erin Morgan, CPA, SHRM-CP - Director of Finance & Administration
Erin is a dynamic and resourceful accounting and administrative professional who brings to Driftwood more than 13 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis and review, budgeting, human resources management, and process improvement. After graduating from UT Austin with her Master of Professional Accounting degree and earning her CPA license, she spent significant time in the healthcare, public, and nonprofit industries, strengthening her portfolio of diverse professional experience. As Driftwood’s Director of Finance & Administration, she oversees all financial reporting, employee recruitment and onboarding, and takes an innovative approach in partnering with Driftwood’s staff and clients to provide the best possible service and results.

Josh Finley - Superintendent
Josh is a crucial member of the Driftwood team, bringing the type of work ethic and dedication that Driftwood is lucky to have! Josh is a graduate of Texas State, and is currently pursuing his MBA. Josh spent 4 years as a Combat Medic and Supervisor for the US Army, and has proven time and time again that he can handle any project or challenge with a positive attitude and levelheadedness. Josh’s most recent experience as a residential Superintendent drives home how talented he is in maintaining schedules, meeting code compliance, and communicating with clients. Driftwood is proud to have him on the team!

Brian Bales - Project Manager
Brian brings to Driftwood Commercial a great attitude and an uncompromising ability to thrive in the fast-paced world of commercial construction. His degree in mechanical engineering, along with his experience in managing subcontractors, preparing proposals and bids for review, and tracking actuals compared to budget, make him a valued Project Manager at Driftwood Commercial. His willingness to do what it takes to make his customers happy is sure to bring clients back time and time again.
